Activating Your Singara Chennai Card

• Metro Office Issued Cards: If your card is issued at a Metro office counter, it is activated immediately upon loading funds.
• SBI Branch Issued Cards (Full KYC): Cards issued or loaded at specified SBI branches must be activated by tapping on the Card Readers at Metro Stations.

Checking Your Card Balance

You can check your balance at Metro Station Card Readers, online at transit.sbi, or through the CMRL App after registering with your card number and mobile number.

Understanding Your Card Balances

• Host Balance: The total prepaid account balance, used for online transactions.
• Global Balance: The offline balance stored on the card chip, used for transit payments like Metro and Bus. It can be topped up from the Host Balance (Balance Sync) or separately.
